Water Lane Community Arts Studio CIC is a resident-led social enterprise dedicated to the rescue and restoration of Bishop’s Stortford’s historic Water Lane Hall. Our mission is to transform this landmark into a premier, sustainable grassroots performing arts and music studio—providing a permanent home for over local performing groups and a vibrant creative engine room for the next generation of talent as well as much needed space for many community groups. We believe in the power of professional-grade community space to foster inclusion, encourage integration, combat isolation, and ensure that the heart of our town remains a place where culture thrives.
